Today Sony announced that they will be attempting to move stock of outdated Sixaxis controllers by bundling them with games. So far the games bundled are: Grand Turismo 5 Prologue, Folklore, Motorstorm and F1 Championship Edition. The bundles are only available in Europe. The combo game and controller will fetch you €60.
This is a clever move by Sony. The DualShock 3 controller hasn’t be released is Europe yet and this will defiantly motivate buyers to help clear stock.

To make up for my news earlier that you Europeans wouldn’t be getting a chance to test out Call of Duty 4 early, I’m pleased to present this absolutely fabulous news with you: Nintendo of Europe has announced that the RPG Freshly-Picked Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland will be heading to the DS on Sept. 14. Hooray! Continued…

As if Europe didn’t already get the short end of the stick with many videogame releases (ask them about their Wii software lineup), now comes word that the anticipated Call of Duty 4 multiplayer beta on the Xbox 360 will be for Americans only. Ouch.
Now, before y’all get upset, remember that we did let you play the Halo 3 beta with us. Let’s not forget that peace offering. Maybe Activision will change their minds, but as of now, if you want to play CoD 4 and you don’t live in the U.S., you’re going to have to wait until its final release. From CVG:
The publisher has confirmed with CVG this morning that the beta test WILL BE for US residents only. We’re currently in the dark as to why this is the case. The Activision spokesperson we contacted was unable to elaborate.
