Today Bethesda announced that when you pre-order Fallout 3, you’ll be walking away with a five-song soundtrack. The songs included are:

  • “I don’t want to set the world on fire” by The Ink Spots
  • “Way back home” by Bob Crosby
  • “Butcher Pete (Part 1)” By Roy Brown
  • “Fallout 3 soundtrack - Main Title” composed by Inon Zur
  • “Fallout 3 soundtrack - Megaton” composed by Inon Zur

I can’t wait for Fallout 3 to come out. I have always touted the Fallout series as the best PC RPGs ever made. One of my fondest memories is waking up Christmas day to find a new computer and a copy of Fallout under the tree. Hopefully Bethesda’s creation can live up to the Fallout precedent.

Today, GameStop released details about Fallout 3’s Collector’s Edition. For $79.99 on console and $69.99 on PC, the Collector’s Edition comes with not only a Vault Boy bobble head, but a hardcover Fallout 3 Art book, a Making of DVD, and the game. All of this will come packaged in a “fully customized” metal lunch box.

This sounds like everything I’ve ever wanted. As a die hard Fallout fan, you can be sure that I’ll be picking this up.

First off, I’m suspicious that those 200 are actually all variants of a handful of real endings. “I reached the final level with the blue armor, and got the cut scene with the guy in the mustache. Now I’m going back for the red armor and the guy with the pompadour.” Continued…
