Yesterday at UbiSoft’s conference, Ubidays, they announced that work has begun on Beyond Good & Evil 2. While far from completion, a teaser trailer was shown showcasing two retuning characters, Jade and Pey’j. Not much else was revealed.

For those of you who don’t know, Beyond Good & Evil was an action/adventure game released on GameCube, Xbox, PS2, and PC. Resident Evil Zero will be ported onto the Wii. Unfortunately, no other information was revealed by Capcom, especially in regards to controls. It would be a shame if the game didn’t get waggle-style controls.
I am really excited about this. I have always been a huge fan of Resident Evil, but never had a Gamecube. Thanks to this port, I don’t have to spend cash on a Gamecube controller and memory card for my Wii. Hopefully the rest of the Resident Evil remakes will get ported as well.

The guys over at Cheap Ass Gamer are organizing a collection of used videogames to send to the soldiers in Iraq. According to the website, “current generation games are preferred.” Also: “Once your games arrive in Iraq, they will be photographed along with their recipient.”
This is a great idea. I have a few friends who are stationed in Iraq who are huge gamers and I know how much it would mean to them if someone sent them some games. If you have a game you are done with, please consider donating it. It’s better than trading it in for $5.00.
