A few months ago I posted a new item about Fallen Empire: Legions, a browser based FPS made by the good folks at GarageGames. Today it was announced that Fallen Empire has entered the open beta phase. To join in on the action, head over to InstantAction.com and sign up for an account. It is free of charge and only takes a few minutes.

The beta includes two different classes, two maps, and two gameplay modes, deathmatch and capture the flag. It is a free game that a lot of good people put hard work into. You should give it a try. What have you got to lose? It’s free!

I always used to want to play real games at work instead of Solitaire or Minesweeper.

Apparently the guys over at GarageGames had the same problem as me and they have — purportedly — come up with the perfect solution. Fallen Empire: Legions, a browser-based game set on the InstantAction.com platform, looks a lot like Tribes.

The game promises a max of 64 players per server, large maps, and jet packs. You can sign up for the beta at InstantAction.com.
