As Americans, it is our civic duty to vote. However, as gamers we often feel chastised by politicians and their views on videogames. Now is our time to rise up and be heard. Yahoo games is trying to inform gamers as to which candidate will help defend our rights to frag.

I know what you are thinking: “If I’m old enough to vote, none of these game laws affect me.” They may not affect you directly, but if these laws start getting signed, larger retailers might start pulling games off shelves which would hurt the entire industry. Take Manhunt 2, for instance. When I went to pick up my copy at my local Target, they informed me that they weren’t carrying the game due to its controversial nature. If the government starts regulating videogames, who knows what they will deem “unsuitable” for public consumption? Continued…
