Heated battles in the Digital Games brackets continue, and some of the best players in each game are getting ready for a major slugfest.

In the FIFA European regional bracket, dragua has already advanced to the third round after a victory over Winzzz.  He’ll play the winner of droter vs. icantplaygood. beLu finds himself in the same position, awaiting the victor of Zaraza1 and pavjke.

In South American FIFA, the field has been whittled down to four players!  Teruliro will battle franklinsoto for a chance at supremacy, while maryfer faces off against pclloh in the bottom portion of the bracket. Who will reign supreme in South America?

Lastly, in North American FIFA, only three remain. caleb1984 is in the final already, and awaits the winner of KiFireLedius and Mojo.ca. Continued…



Heated competition continues on the Digital Games ladders, but the leaders are beginning to solidify their positions on some games and regions.

Paladyn has a stranglehold on the on the European Warcraft III front, as usual, with a 39-5 record and 4940 points. He’s 780 points ahead of Russian dmZfederal, and 940 ahead of iesbly4eg. FuRY[SWE], however, is climbing with a 25-5 record and 6W streak. He’s currently in 4th place.

In 6th, another star is rising. His name is PGS.LiiLD.C, and if you’re a follower of the WC3 scene, you know he’s a force to be reckoned with…

Meanwhile, on the Trackmania Nations Forever North American ladder, G2_Wolf has held onto his undefeated record. He did not, in fact, get to play Iceman yesterday. Wolf expressed some disappointment as he’d rather “get 40 points for racing and losing instead of 60 for a forfeit win.” This hardened competitor will be looking forward to the challenges posed by CoryEarly and wilameta. Ladder play continues in GGL’s Digital Games, with a number of standout players and teams coming to the forefront to represent their countries and gaming communities.

The most rabid players reside on the Warcraft III European ladder, where Paladyn continues to feast on players who are challenging his first place spot. Paladyn now holds a 34-5 record, 4440 points and a 3W streak.

dmZfederal (22-10, 3600, 2L) and iesbly4eg (24-4, 3480, 3W) are holding it down in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.

On the North American StarCraft front, Artosis has held onto his first place spot, although he does have a 2L streak. This could be problematic because, if memory serves correctly, there are no newbies on this ladder. We’ll continue to keep an eye on Artosis as the ladders go on.

In European StarCraft news, LoWeLy leads the ladder with a 5-2 record, 1580 points and an unfortunate 1L streak. Continued…



The battle of the RTS gamers continues in the 2008 Digital Games, with Przemek “Paladyn” Wadoń taking over first place in the European Warcraft III ladder.

Paladyn sports a 22-2 record, with a 10 game winning streak and 3200 points. Second place NaviGraF is mobbing around with a 15-14 record, 2930 points, and a 1W streak. Third place iesbly4eg is zooming up behind with a 16-3 record , 7W streak and 2720 points.

The RTS ladders promise to be among the most active in the DG program, so stay tuned for more updates about them as we get further into the competition. For now, congrats to Paladyn for leading the ladder!
