Video on demand from the International E-Sports Tournament 2007 Grand Final is now available for download, featuring renowned international stars like Hwasin, Moon, ToD, Sky and more.

There are two sets of VODs available from MeetYourMakers. Set 1 features Moon, Sky, ToD, ForDream and HoT in Warcraft III action, while Hwasin, Jaystar, Calm and Lei Lei duke it out in StarCraft.

Set 2 sees Moon, HoT, ToD and Sky enter the fray again in Warcraft III, while SheIs, Lei Lei, Blackman, Fengzi, Testie and PJ go to work in StarCraft.

The International Electronic Sports Tournament 2007 in Beijing finished this weekend, but not before some Korean StarCraft players came under suspicion for rigging the tournament.

Rising star Hwasin (Terran) took home the grand prize of $32,000 after defeating his teammate Calm (Zerg); however, many fans who were watching the VODs claimed that Calm and Hwasin exchanged strategies in the lobby ahead of time.

Even if the players know each other’s strategies going into the game, the winner isn’t automatically determined. Execution still plays a major role in winning … right? Still, the controversy has cast a bit of a pall over the final results.

In Warcraft 3 news, Moon returned to form, beating out ToD 3-1 in the grand finals winning €15,000 (around $21,000 USD). Moon killer HoT ended up taking fourth place. Continued…



Finding himself caught between two Night Elf players, Manuel “Grubby” Schenkhuizen has been eliminated in the IEST Warcraft 3 group stage. Infi, winner of the Chinese IEST qualifier, fnatic.Xyligan and mouz.SaSe have also been axed.

The International Electronic Sports Tournament’s 2007 Global Finals are set to begin today, Oct. 17, and we’ll see some heated Warcraft III and StarCraft action over the course of the tournament.
