62% of gamers choose Wal-Mart
A recent IGN survey has revealed that 62% of gamers, or at least, 62% of the respondents, view Wal-Mart as their first choice for buying games.
Best Buy came in second, while online retailer Amazon came in 6th.
I’m not sure if this image says more about the average gamer or the utter hegemony of Wal-Mart. It’s little secret that Wal-Mart is the most powerful retailer on the planet and can force companies to shape their products to moral standards in order to be sold at is stores.
