Announced today at GDC, Ninja Gaiden II will be coming out in the U.S. on June 3rd. Fortunately for me, that’s my birthday, so I guess I know what I’ll be asking for.
Ninja Gaiden II will be an Xbox 360 exclusive and will feature numerous improvements over its original Xbox predecessor. Some of which include improved graphics, a new health system, new weapons, and a 30 hour story mode.
Unfortunately for my grades, my college is on quarters, making finals around the start of June. I hate to reinforce the stereotype of the lazy gamer, but hey, I am what I am.

The 2007 Tokyo Game Show is officially under way and with it comes a wealth of new gaming info and video. One of the first new looks you will see this week has to do with the recently-announced Xbox 360 exclusive title Ninja Gaiden 2. Check the jump to watch the 15-minute developer walkthrough.

After yesterday’s leak and retraction of supposed Ninja Gaiden 2 screenshots, gamers got the official announcement and page today from Microsoft. According to Xbox.com, the sequel will feature “a new and improved game engine, developed from the ground up, exclusively for Microsoft and Xbox 360 by Team Ninja and legendary game developer Tomonobu Itagaki, creator of the famed Dead or Alive franchise.”
