Review: Razer Lachesis
Epileptic Gaming #141: Tuesday LIVE at 7PM ET/4PM PT!
Our friends at Razer sent me the latest and greatest gaming mouse straight from their headquarters. Say hello to the 4000 DPI Razer Lachesis!
I’ve yet to try out this beast, but it’s definitely be a child of the Boomslang, with the extra-long trademark Razer buttons. We’ll have a review of the Lachesis on Wire soon.
For now, check out these pictures of the Lachesis in its natural habitat. It’s hiding behind the box cover in one pose, while in the second, it finds cover behind some California vegetation.
P.S: Yes, a review of the Sidewinder mouse is also incoming, but has been on the backburner due to computer problems.
I’ve been in Seattle since Tuesday and this is the first chance I got to do anything fun other than eat apple danishes and have intestinal problems, so I jumped at the chance to play g0d-Ms.X in a game of Quake 3 at the Razer booth. Little did I know what was in store for me … or did I?
See what transpired below.
And yes, I did have an excuse ready at the end. See all our WCG 07 footage at the WCG07 video page.
Just in time for CPL Summer, Razer launched a new program to provide sponsorship to those who don’t have the connections to get sponsored through other channels.
Called “Go Pro With Razer,” the program promises a bevy of different sponsorship levels to selected gamers, including apparel, product sponsorships to live events, and salaries.
In order to land these deals, you need to meet certain requirements. First, you need to be using Razer peripherals already. Second, you need to place top three in three live gaming events. Additionally, the winning team in the World in Conflict competition at CPL can choose to accept a $20,000 sponsorship from Razer, which includes travel and product sponsorship.
