Today Bioware announced that the PC port of Mass Effect will be delayed. Originally slated for May 6, Mass Effect will now be arriving in North America on May 28 and in Europe on June 6.
Why the delay? According to Bioware, the delay will allow developers to “incorporate more play-testing feedback, add extra polish and tune the additional features so that Mass Effect is a natural and outstanding PC gaming experience.” Continued…
Today EA announced a release date for Dead Space. Predictably, Dead Space will be arriving Oct. 31, Halloween. This apples only to the PS3 and Xbox 360 version; there has been no word on a release date for the PC.
Personally I can’t wait for this game. I have always had a thing for survival-horror games, however the classic zombies and mansions are getting kind of old. Hopefully space is just what the genre needed. Until Halloween, I guess I’ll just have to follow the comics to tide me over.
