Today Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment announced that the Stargate SG-1 based MMORPG, Stargate Worlds, is ready to enter the beta stage. If you are interested in giving Stargate Worlds a chance, beta sign-ups are going on right now. Just head over to www.StargateWorlds.com and register. Teasers tease, and that’s exactly what this 1-minute clip from Stargate Worlds does. The game is set for release in the last quarter of 08, and promises all manner of Stargate related lore and races in an MMO format.
I suppose it looks decent enough, but, really, most engines can handle creating in-game cinematics well these days. I’m more interested in what the UI looks like, and any potential PVP.
