Today Capcom made the rumors true; Street Fighter IV is coming to Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Street Fighter IV comes packed with features, such as: 2D fighting with 3d characters and environments, new special moves and combos, the original cast of Street Fighter II plus new characters, and new gameplay elements that will challenge both veterans and new comers.
Unfortunately in the press release there is no mention as to when gamers can expect SFIV. Hopefully it’s sooner rather than later.

A leaked photo of this week’s pre-newsstand Famitsu spread the rumors about a new Street Fighter 4 character, and now Capcom’s US Blog has the details regarding this new fighter.
Joining Crimson Viper and Abel on the list of new contenders on the upcoming SF4 comes El Fuerte, a Mexican Lucha Libre wrestler (and a part-time gourmet cooker) that is said to compete with Abel and Zangief for the top grappler spot in the title.

Well boys and girls, it’s come to my attention that the amount of people wanting an arcade cabinet is growing, so I figured I would tell you the what’s what about arcade cabinets.
First, you need to cover finding a cabinet that is either a prime candidate to go in your living room, or a nice project for the weekends. These things aren’t nearly as complicated as they seem and anyone with basic computer knowledge can work on one.
To start out you need to figure out what you want to play! Shooting and fighting games have similar cabinets but if you want something like a driving pod then you need to plan accordingly. Once you’ve figured out what type you want to play figure out if you want one game, or many games. You can buy an original cabinet, stick that in your living room and be fine with it, or you can buy/build a cabinet and then stick a PC or console in there and have many games.
The route I am going to go is have everything wired up to my PC and have the ability to connect it to my Xbox 360 allowing me to play certain fighting games like Dead or Alive and Street Fighter.
So to conclude this first (small) part do your research and find out what you want to get out of building or buying your cabinet, and prepare for the next part where we will cover picking your cabinet for both applications and discuss the standards of arcade machines.
