Piracy = no Gears of War 2 on PC
The PC gaming market hasn’t been doing too well. Consoles has been winning exclusives due to the rampant piracy of PC games. This is why Gears of War 2 won’t be arriving on PC.
According to Cliff Bleszinski, of Epic Games: “The person who is savvy enough to want to have a good PC to upgrade their video card, is a person who is savvy enough to know [BitTorrent] to know all the elements so they can pirate software. Therefore, high-end videogames are suffering very much on the PC.”
As primarily a PC gamer, this really troubles me. It’s a shame that developers are leaving, what I believe is, the best gaming platform due to piracy. This is my plea to pirates everywhere. If you are going to pirate a game, whatever; I can’t condone it. Just make sure you buy the games you enjoy. It’s only fair.
