TimeShift wasn’t the block buster title that Sierra Entertainment was looking for. That is why today, Sierra announced that they will be releasing a free multiplayer map pack on Xbox Live today. Titled “Futures-Past Multiplayer Map Pack,” the pack contains five new maps, all compatible with the various game modes. If you have a free minute and were one of the few people who bought TimeShift, I would defiantly recommend giving the pack a download. What’s it going to cost ya?

Timeshift, Saber Interactive and Sierra’s time-stopping, Matrix-y FPS game, just got its PC demo release today. You can download it from FileShack and FilePlanet.

GGL’s Robert Summa conducted an interview with Timeshift producer Kyle Peschel back during E3 and got the rant of the century from him. You can watch that video below (check the look in Summa’s eyes when Peschel goes off).



Timeshift fans and Xbox 360 owners, rejoice! Today saw the release of the Timeshift demo onto Xbox Live.

The full version of the game ships to stores Oct. 30.

Timeshift, the somewhat-delayed time-traveling first person shooter, is set for release Oct. 30 on the Xbox 360 and PC. A PlayStation 3 version will come out in December.

The game allows players to stop, slow, or rewind time, opening up interesting avenues in combat like using a stopped enemy as a stepping stone. Continued…
