Sony announces release date for PS3 keypad
Today Ian Jackson, Sony’s VP of Sales, announced that the PS3 keypad peripheral will be in stores the first week of December. The keypad is currently listed for $50, a bit pricey if you ask me.
Personally I don’t really see the point of this thing. The PS3 already accepts USB keyboards. Why would I drop $50 on an awkward hunk of plastic that looks really uncomfortable to use. Sony should have done the smart thing by selling a small wireless keyboard that is ergonomically designed and reasonably priced. But that is just my opinion.
